Got bored. :P

Program: 3D Studio Max 6.
Renderer: Mental Ray 3.2.6
Time to render: 11h 44m (because of the blurred reflections)

EDIT: Updated pic. I upped the samples by 2 levels (AA was squared - TWICE), but i still managed to do the render in only 9 hours 35 minutes. Aint optimising great? :D

Wow nice effect. The duo colors in the tubes really bring out this peice. The detail on this peice is photo quality. Actually I thought it was when I looked at it.

Looks like you people haven't seen the movie Resident Evil yet. :P

BTW: i'm gonna update it tomorrow. The caps will have a smoother texture (i hope) and the spirals will have more polygons and i'll add some 2d to it.

Haha, maybe, but i made it better. And i said i'll make it finer. Which will cause the render time to sky rocket :(
